In Memory of Madam Ye Jiaying

A single leaf falls to the gentle dust,
The literary world loses a rare gem, a treasure just.
A thousand branches once bathed in dew,
Now countless eyes weep, a sorrowful hue.
At a hundred years, she stood in autumn’s height,
Her remaining days outshining summer’s light.
Her poetic spirit and graceful tone,
Deeply nourished both heart and bone.
